We stand on the shoulders of giants. Church history teaches us that though our stories seem unique to us, they are wrapped up in centuries of struggle, pain, loss, and victory in Christ. The stories of the saints have something to teach us about ourselves, but most importantly about the abundant love of Christ Jesus. The One who works through His church throughout the ages to bring glory to the Father and advance His kingdom into the world. As we take a look at past saints in this series, may their lives point you to the One who not only redeemed their stories but yours as well.
