Additional Flowers Info

We purchase lilies each year to beautify our chancel for Easter morning’s celebration of our risen Savior. This year, we changed things up a little bit and offered 12 hydrangea plants in addition to the lilies.

If you need to make a payment for your plants, you can pay online or in person. If you are paying by check, please make your checks payable to Memorial Lutheran Church with “Easter flowers” in the memo. You can place your payment in the offering plate, by mail, or at the church office.

A few tips for those who purchased lilies: Choose a sunny, well-draining spot and dig a hole deep enough to plant it at the same depth it was in the pot. Water thoroughly and mulch lightly. You can expect the plant to die back after blooming, but don’t worry—it will regrow from the bulb next season!
