First, thank you for being a part of our team! This casual-seeming and fun volunteer position is of vital importance. Our worship service begins at 9 am. We ask that our volunteers be in position from 8:30 am until around 9:05 am.

Welcome Team Positions

Doors

Two of our teammates hold open the 3rd Street doors open with a smile and a “hello.” 😀 That’s pretty much it! Occasionally, there’s time or need for deeper conversation. Go with it!

Roaming

Two of our teammates get to wander around the Welcome Center chatting it up! We’re greeting people with a greater sense of fellowship. This can include light conversation, prayers, giving directions to various spots (bathroom, nursery, etc.), and/or an invitation to join us for coffee and/or Bible class after worship. You do NOT have to know all the answers or be an expert on Memorial!

Scheduling

The team is scheduled through PlanningCenter. Sign-up sheets and reminders will come from this system. When you set up your account, you can also input blockout dates – dates when you cannot or don’t want to serve. This is tremendously helpful!
