Curriculum

In accordance with our philosophy and purpose statements, Memorial Lutheran Preschool’s curriculum is permeated by a longing for children to know and grow closer to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  • Our Spiritual Growth Coordinator & the Memorial Lutheran Church staff conduct a weekly chapel.
  • We hold weekly sessions with music and gross motor development for all ages.
  • Our Toddlers, Twos, and Threes have developed an age-appropriate curriculum that includes:
    • language development
    • social-emotional components
    • rhymes and songs
    • number sense
    • fine motor skills
    • art exploration 
    • hands-on science 
    • gross motor class 
    • music and movement 
    • outdoor play 
  • Our pre-k classes use the Learning Without Tears curriculum. Components include:
    • Language & Literacy 
    • Numbers & Math 
    • Readiness & Writing 
    • Science 
    • Social Studies 
    • Gross Motor class 
    • Outdoor play 
    • Afternoon specials (math, science, Spanish)
  • Our Kickstart to Kindergarten class uses an extension of the Learning Without Tears curriculum, focusing on Kindergarten readiness.
