Harvest Lessons with Jesus

Fall is upon us and already people are putting out decorations of pumpkins and cornstalks and other signs of the season. Even though it still feels like summer, our hopes for a traditional autumn filled with football, cooler temperatures, and maybe even just a little bit of fall color find a place in our hearts and minds.

And of course, one of the things we also associate with fall is the harvest. It won’t be long before we start planning Fall Harvest Parties. In Katy, we’ll be celebrating the Katy Rice Harvest Festival.

But in the Lord’s Harvest there are other priorities and there are great lessons to be learned about Jesus’ passion to seek and save the lost and our role in joining Him as workers in the field.

Join us for Adult Bible Class on Sundays from September 13 – October 11 as we look at Harvest Lessons with Jesus.

• Different Harvests in Different Soils (Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23)
• A Patient Harvester (Matthew 13:24-30)
• The Final Harvest (Revelation 14:14-20)
• The Harvest is Now! (John 4:31-38)

While the adults are in Bible study, our youth and children are invited to attend Sunday School lessons and activities just for them. Youth meet in the youth rooms downstairs, and the children meet in the upstairs Loomis Hallway.
