Confirmation Orientation
Confirmation classes will resume with an orientation meeting for students and parents of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders on August 24th at 10:30 a.m.
Confirmation is a specific rite of passage in the Lutheran Church where students will study the basics of the Christian faith using the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism for instruction. This in-depth study connects students with the life and community of the Christian church, equipping them to follow Jesus.
All new confirmation students will receive a copy of Luther’s Small Catechism, and it is our honor to present these Catechisms during worship as a significant Milestone Moment in our students’ lives.

On September 7th, during worship, we’ll pray over your student and family and provide helpful resources to support their growth in God’s Word at home.
A special part of this Milestone Moment is having baskets available for each child & student, in which our MLC family of disciples contribute prayers and favorite scripture passages, encouraging them in their faith journeys.
Please sign your student up with the link above.
