Batten’s Boxes, Packing

During Youth Night on Wednesday, March 18th, we will pack the sensory eggs made on February 22nd, create cards, and pack other fun items into boxes, which will be shipped out before Easter. Everything needed will be provided. We look forward to serving alongside you.

“Super Sam (aka Samuel Engman) was diagnosed with Batten Disease when he was 2 years old.  During his life, we realized that many families dealing with this disease were struggling with God’s love.  A few years ago, we started sending Easter care packages to families with children with Batten disease to share some smiles and most importantly God’s love and a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice for us on the cross.  We are now known in the Batten community as the family that sends Easter boxes.  As Sam celebrates Easter in heaven this year, we are encouraged to celebrate by continuing to share God’s love through these boxes.”
