LAF: Advocating for Your Health
Please join us for LAF on Thursday, April 23, at 11:30. It will be a potluck, so bring your favorite dish to share.
Nathan will be our speaker and will share stories, encouragement, and helpful tips on how to advocate for our health.
As we grow older, taking an active role in our healthcare becomes one of the most important ways we steward the life God has given us. Your doctors and medical team bring valuable expertise, but you bring something just as important—your lived experience, your questions, and your voice. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, seek clarity, or speak up about concerns; good healthcare is a partnership, not a one-sided conversation. Being prepared, informed, and engaged helps ensure that decisions reflect your needs, values, and goals. Advocacy isn’t about challenging your doctors—it’s about working together so you receive the best possible care with confidence and dignity.
We’re looking forward to hearing Nathan’s stories and seeing all of you!
