Returning to Worship Details
Can High-Risk Individuals Return?
For those members who are considered as High Risk for COVID-19 by the CDC, please continue to join us online and not in person at this time. If you are unsure, please consider worshiping with us online for just a little while longer. As the situation changes, we will continue to be in communication via email and social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). We also have our COVID updates page.
Checking Into Worship
Everyone attending worship will be asked to check-in at the front door before entering the welcome center where the screening tables will be set up. If a line should form, we will have marks along the sidewalk to aid in maintaining physical distancing.
If you are planning to attend, please come early to allow time for check-in and screening. Our greeting/screening teams will be ready at 9 am.
The Screening Questions
There will be screening tables upon entry to the church for a quick, no-contact temperature check and ask these two questions:
#1: Do you have now or have you in the past seven days had any of the following symptoms?
#2: In the last 7 days have you been in close contact with a person under investigation for or diagnosed with Covid-19?
If you cannot answer "no" to both of these questions, please join us in worship online and perhaps join us in person next week.

Masks are Required
Masks are required during worship service for anyone 10 years old or older. Children between 2 and 10 years old should wear a mask as they are able and at their parent's discretion. Children younger than 2 do not need to wear a mask.
During Sunday School, masks are required for all who are in the Elementary class or older and for all teachers regardless of what class they teach.
We encourage you to bring your own masks, but we will have a limited supply available if you need one.
Please resist the temptation to remove your mask while singing since singing is considered a higher risk activity for the spread of COVID-19.
What if there are too many people? Is there a reservation system?
Given the size of our Sanctuary and abiding by CDC guidelines, we believe we’ll be able to accommodate all who want to attend worship in-person. At this time, we do not want to frustrate you or alienate guests by utilizing a reservations system.
Instead, we will rely on our wonderful ushers who will guide worshipers where to sit to help maintain the 6 feet of physical distancing between families. Every other pew will remain unoccupied, and they are marked with signs. We also have a plan in place for overflow should we need it.
At the end of service, the ushers will guide people out of the facility. I know we miss socializing in-person too, but please be patient as we ease back into things.
What about the children?
During the children's message, the children will remain seated with their families.
The nursery is open and staffed for children 3 years old & under. All children will be required to be signed in by a parent or guardian and must wash their hands with soap before playing. Our Nursery Room allows for 6 babies and toddlers in attendance. Once we have reached that capacity, we will not be checking in any more children and will advise children to stay with their family in worship.
Sunday school is at 10:30 am for all ages. Masks are required for all who are in the Elementary class or older and for all teachers regardless of what class they teach.
Where are the Bibles, hymnals, pencils, and cards?
We do not have any hymnals or Bibles in the pews for now. You can follow along with the screens for singing, and we'd love for you to bring your own Bibles or use your mobile devices!
There are no attendance cards or pencils. You can fill out
your attendance card online.
No church bulletins will be printed. You can download it on our
worship page and view it on your mobile device, or print it.
(The page is updated on Fridays; Saturday afternoons at the latest.)
