Jr. High Youth

Sunday Morning Bible Study & Confirmation
*On break for the Summer
  • 10:30 am in the Loomis Center Upstairs Classrooms

  • Our 5th-grade students have a Pre-Confirmation study that goes through the Bible. This class gives students a solid foundation on the narrative of God and His people throughout the Bible, and it also prepares them for their Confirmation classes that start in 6th grade.

  • Our 6-8th grade students have Confirmation class throughout the school year and regular Bible study when confirmation classes are not in session.
Confirmation is a specific rite of passage in the Lutheran Church where students will study the basics of the Christian faith using the Bible and Luther's Small Catechism for instruction. This in-depth study connects students with the life and community of the Christian church and equips them to follow Jesus.

  • Concerts

Summer

We have more intensive and week-long mission experiences/trips that focus on discipleship and serving our local community.

Parents

The scriptures inform us that you're the primary spiritual care-takers of your children. This is backed up by statistics and research that points to you being the most influential people in the lives of your children. We can't do youth ministry without you and we wouldn't want to anyway! We strive to partner with you as parents to help your child grow closer to Jesus all the while navigating these tumultuous, teenage years.
