2012 Missional Leadership Retreat:
Giddings, TX // February 24-25 // DEADLINE January 29
God is our FATHER, but he is also our KING.
Our King created us, loves us and was willing to die for us. In Christ and on the cross that truth came into clear focus. This overnight retreat features SIX SESSIONS that will explore, & get participants to experience, Christ’s work on the cross and what it means for our relationship with him and how we are to live as his people. Bring your relationship with God the King into focus this Lent.

2012 Katy/Houston World Tour:

Did you know that there are over 140 different language groups in Houston? Are you aware that Houston is known to be one of the most diverse cities in the world? This is your opportunity to see, first hand, just how diverse Houston and Katy are and how we can get involved reaching the nations for Christ...right in our own backyard!
Join with us as we explore Katy and Houston's diversity by visiting a Buddhist temple, a local Muslim Masjid, a Yoga Centre, a diverse quarter of town and dine at a local exotic eatery. The event is FREE, but you need to bring your own money for food and we NEED drivers.

Kenya Mission Partnership:
Memorial Katy is joining together with other Houston and Texas area Lutheran churches in partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kenya to offer vision clinics and spread the Gospel in southern Kenya. Our first trip will include an exploratory team that will accompany Trinity Klein on its vision clinic mission. This team will be supported in prayer here at Memorial and when they return our partnership will really begin to flower.
Our exploratory team is Pastor John Davis, Brenda Davis and Delisle Doherty.

New York Mission Trip:
Disciples at Memorial will be connecting with a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod house church planting movement in New Jersey & New York to pray and support them with the service of our heads, our hearts and our hands.
The trip is from Saturday June 9 to Saturday June 16, 2012 and the estimated cost of the trip is $650 per person (including airfare, room and board and most meals). The initial deposit and commitment of $400 is due March 7 and second and third installments ($125 each) are due April 7 and May 7 respectively.
