Confirmation in 3D
Confirmation in 3D is a ministry that takes place on Wednesday nights during the school year. All families are encouraged to join us for a meal at 6:00pm. The teaching starts at 6:30 and goes until 8:00pm. This is a fun and intense time that teaches students about the Christian faith and helps the students to identify with the life and mission of the Christian community. Through Confirmation in 3D, we encourage students to grow in their relationship with God, one another, and to make a difference in their community for Christ. We ask that families make a three year committment to this discipleship process and can start as early as their 6th grade year.
Youth Bible Studies
Junior High and High School Bible Studies are offered upstairs in the Loomis Center on Sunday mornings at 9:30am.
Y.E.S.
Y.E.S. stands for Youth Exploring Salvation. This is a time for high school students to come to the church on Sunday evenings from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The students gather together for a meal and to talk, they play a game/activity together, and they worship together which includes hearing a message about how God impacts their lives and how they then can impact the lives of others. Through this time, students will learn to trust God more fully, love one another, serve in their community, and have a blast doing it!
As a part of Y.E.S., we serve at the Krause Center for Teens every third Sunday of the month at the same time.
Youth Praise Team
We encourage students to be involved in the church and community now and not just when they get older. This high school praise band directed by Elizabeth Chitwood gives them one opportunity to do so. They meet the third Thursday of the month at 6.30pm in the church sanctuary and lead worship on the 4th Sunday of the month at the 10:45am service.
